Softball Recap: Coral Park Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Coral Park can now relate to. They came up short against the Braddock Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 16-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, with their most recent loss being a 16-5 defeat two weeks ago.

Coral Park has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season. As for Braddock, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-5.

Coral Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Braddock, they will challenge Southwest at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 14.8 runs per game this season.
