Soccer Game Preview: Jackson-Reed vs. MacArthur

The Jackson-Reed Tigers will challenge the MacArthur Mammoths at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Jackson-Reed will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

Jackson-Reed is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Roosevelt, who was ranked 18th at the time (Jackson-Reed was ranked second). The Tigers walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Roughriders on Wednesday.

Lucas Harrison and Nikolai Christianson scored all three of Jackson-Reed's goals, bringing their combined season tally to six goals.

Meanwhile, MacArthur fell victim to School Without Walls and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They came up short against the Penguins, falling 5-0. MacArthur have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Jackson-Reed, their win bumped their record up to 10-1.
