Meanwhile, Riverdale Ridge's match on Thursday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand Brighton a 3-0 shutout. Riverdale Ridge might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by three goals or more this season.

Abby Hawkins and Trinity Abeyta scored all three of Riverdale Ridge's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 16 goals.

Mountain Range's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Riverdale Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1-1.
