Basketball Recap: Wilson Hall Now 6-1 over Last Seven Games

Wilson Hall had won two straight road games and Shawn Michael Matthews did his part to make it three on Monday. The Wilson Hall Barons strolled past the Camden Military Spartans with points to spare, taking the game 53-34 thanks in part to Matthews, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in November of 2023.

Wilson Hall has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for Camden Military, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Wilson Hall didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 65-62 defeat against Laurence Manning Academy on the 28th. Camden Military has also already played their next matchup, a 62-29 loss against Hilton Head Christian Academy on the 28th.
