Softball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Monroe's offense. They came up short against the Piedmont Panthers on Tuesday, falling 18-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Redhawks in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Monroe's loss dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Piedmont, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Monroe has already played their next game, a 15-0 defeat against West Stanly on the 6th. As for Piedmont, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 23-0 victory against Forest Hills on the 6th.
