Everything went their way against the San Carlos Braves as they made off with a 22-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Spartans, who have now won four matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Gilbert Classical Academy got a massive performance out of Beckett Elliott, who scored five runs and stole two bases while going 4-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Elliott has posted since back in March of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Hobey Hartman, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.
Gilbert Classical Academy was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .517. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as San Carlos only posted a batting average of .211.
Gilbert Classical Academy's record is now 4-5-1. As for San Carlos, they dropped their record down to 0-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

As for San Carlos, they will square off against Chandler Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
