Recap: Todd County vs. Crow Creek
Todd County won the last time it faced Crow Creek, and things went their way on Friday, too. Todd County steamrollered Crow Creek 51-0. The Todd County offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Senior Mark Rogers, who rushed for 89 yards and 2 touchdowns, was a major factor in the success. Senior Brendan Waln was in the mix, too, providing Todd County with with 2 touchdowns. This was the first game for both teams, giving Todd County a 1-0 record and starting Crow Creek off at 0-1.
Next week, Todd County take on Dakota Valley at 6:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Crow Creek, they will face of against McLaughlin. Neither Crow Creek nor McLaughlin could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
