 Stanley-Boyd is 0-4 against Bloomer since June of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Thursday. The Stanley-Boyd Orioles will head out on the road to  challenge  the Bloomer Blackhawks at 5:00  p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication,  the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
 On Tuesday, Stanley-Boyd got the win against Regis  by a conclusive  15-2. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for Stanley-Boyd.
  Ella Nitz made a splash while hitting and pitching. She  struck out six batters over  six innings while giving up just two earned runs off   three  hits. Nitz was also solid in the batter's box,  going 1-for-2 with a  stolen base, two  RBI,  and a  double.
 In other batting news, Stanley-Boyd let  Bailey Sikora and  Kelly Lew loose on the outfield. Sikora  scored four  runs and  stole five bases while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances, while  Lew  scored three  runs and  stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Nevaeh Walters, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, in what's become a running theme this season, Bloomer gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  16-2 margin over Regis.
 Stanley-Boyd pushed their record up to 6-8 with that  win, which was their third straight  at home. As for Bloomer,  the  victory  got them back to even at 6-6.
 Stanley-Boyd suffered a grim  15-5 defeat to Bloomer  in their previous meeting  two weeks ago. Can Stanley-Boyd avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
