Football Recap: Liberty Piles Up the Points Against Boulder Creek

It was a proper cat-fight when Liberty faced off against Boulder Creek on Friday. The Lions blew past the Jaguars 55-13. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight matchups by 31 points or more so far this season.

Liberty's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jayden Pico, who threw for 101 yards and three TDs on perfect 5-for-5 passing. Those 101 passing yards gave Pico a new career-high. Marley Chancey did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 31 receiving yards.

Although Boulder Creek took the loss, they still got scores from Frankie Stubbs and Shaedon Perry.

Liberty's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 6.0 points on average over those games. As for Boulder Creek, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-7.

As of now, neither Liberty nor the Jaguars have any future games scheduled.
