Meade came tearing into Friday's contest with 13 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.4 points), and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past Crofton to the tune of 74-32. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 20 points or more this season.

Meade's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Lucaya Baldridge led the charge by putting up seven points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. Baldridge continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Arouna Soumaoro, who went 5-for-8 en route to 10 points and five boards.

Meade smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 21 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Meade pushed their record up to 16-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Crofton, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.

Meade wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, an 85-62 win against South River on the 15th. As for Crofton, they will face off against Chesapeake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Crofton is facing Chesapeake at the right time seeing as Chesapeake is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
