Football Recap: Eleanor McMain Takes a Loss

Eleanor McMain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the West Jefferson Buccaneers 40-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 33-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Eleanor McMain's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for West Jefferson, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eleanor McMain will head out to square off against St. Martin's Episcopal at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for West Jefferson, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Belle Chasse on October 3.
