After losing to Alba-Golden the last time they met, Como-Pickton decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Everything went the Como-Pickton Eagles' way against the Alba-Golden Panthers on Friday as the Como-Pickton Eagles made off with a 14-4 win. Considering the Eagles have won five contests by more than nine runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory got Como-Pickton back to even at 7-7. As for Alba-Golden, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Como-Pickton will head out to challenge Fruitvale at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Alba-Golden, they will host Cumby at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Alba-Golden has given up an average of 6.9 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
