Gibault Catholic extended their postseason success on Tuesday against Murphysboro. Their defense stepped up to hand the Red Devils a 4-0 shutout. Considering Gibault Catholic have won ten matchups by more than three goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Murphysboro with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Karmon Grohmann (2), Aubry Thomas, and Emily Richardson.

The victory made it two in a row for Gibault Catholic and bumps their season record up to 13-8-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those two games. As for Murphysboro, their loss dropped their record down to 18-5-2.
