Basketball Recap: North Dorchester Takes a Loss

North Dorchester lost against Kent County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The North Dorchester Eagles fell 47-40 to the Kent County Trojans.

Despite the defeat, North Dorchester saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Remdy Wongus dropped a double-double with 20 points and 12 rebounds. That was a full 50% of North Dorchester's points, marking the third time in a row Wongus has posted more than a third of the team's points. Simir Holland was another key player, putting up ten points.

Even though they lost, North Dorchester smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since the start of last season.

North Dorchester dropped their record down to 6-15 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Kent County, their win bumped their record up to 8-15.

As of now, neither North Dorchester nor Kent County have any future games scheduled.
