Sasakwa lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Coleman, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's contest. The Vikings blew past the Wildcats 13-5 on Tuesday. The Vikings might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.
Titus Collins and Ayden Livesay were a major factor no matter where they played. On the mound, Collins struck out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. Meanwhile, Livesay pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts Collins has posted over his last three matchups. At bat, Collins scored a run while going 3-for-5, while Livesay scored a run while going 1-for-5. That run was Collins' first of the season.
In other batting news, Sasakwa got a massive performance out of Darius Henderson, who scored four runs and stole four bases while going 4-for-5. Those four hits gave Henderson a new career-high. Braydon Lamb was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Sasakwa always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .525. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Coleman only posted an OBP of .241.
