Elkhorn took a eight-run defeat the last time they faced off against Fremont, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Elkhorn came out on top against Fremont on Friday by a score of 4-2 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). For the Antlers, this counts as revenge for the 15-7 victory the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2023.

Caiden Severson made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Severson was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that he brought in this season.
