Softball Game Recap: Ryan Raiders vs. Richland Royals

Ryan lost against Richland back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Ryan Raiders might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 8-1 to the Richland Royals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ryan suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 10-3. As for Richland, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-2 record this season.

Ryan will face off against Grapevine at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ryan's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Grapevine's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Richland, they will square off against Birdville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with Birdville sitting on ten straight victories and Richland on six.
