Volleyball Recap: Le Roy Oatkan Knights vs. Bloomfield Bombers
It was a good run, but Le Roy unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They came up short against the Bloomfield Bombers, falling 3-0. The shutout was out of character for the Oatkan Knights seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in October.
The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-6, 25-16.
Shea Williams paced Le Roy's offense, picking up five kills. Williams got some help from
Evy Kanaley and her 12 assists. Finally,
Gabriella Zitz and
Eleah Dowell kept the team grounded on defense, each having blocked three attacks.
Le Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5. As for Bloomfield, the victory for them keeps them at an undefeated 21-0.
