Daleville won the last time they faced Union City, and Hunter Suchyna did his part to make sure it happened again. The Daleville Broncos came out on top against the Union City Indians by a score of 72-59 on Friday thanks to Suchyna, who went 13-for-24 en route to 37 points in addition to six assists and six boards. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last five games he's played.

Another player making a difference was Cooper Sexton, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. He has become a key player for Daleville: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 15 points, but 3-10 otherwise.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayson Connor, who went 6-for-12 to rack up 17 points and seven boards. Those seven rebounds gave Connor a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Cowper, who went 8-for-11 on his way to 16 points.

Daleville's victory bumped their record up to 5-11. As for Union City, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-12.

Daleville has already played their next match, a 70-56 loss against Eastern on the 15th. As for Union City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 53-44 defeat against Mississinawa Valley on the 15th.
