After a string of four wins, Barbe's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Byrd Yellow Jackets. If the Buccaneers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Yellow Jackets when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Barbe's loss dropped their record down to 16-9. As for Byrd, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

Barbe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Lakeshore on the 4th. As for Byrd, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Riverside Academy on the 4th.
