The Smoky Mountain Mustangs made easy work of the Hayesville Yellowjackets on Friday and carried off a 14-4 victory. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Smoky Mountain has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Hayesville, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 7-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Smoky Mountain will square off against Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hayesville, they will take on Cherokee at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games the Braves have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
