Baseball Recap: Central Arkansas Christian Victorious

Central Arkansas Christian lost to Robinson back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Senators by a score of 8-3.

Brady McEntyre spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on four hits.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Mason Welsh, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances. He has become a key player for Central Arkansas Christian: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 4-9 otherwise. Jack Bingenheimer was another key player, scoring three runs while going 1-for-4.

Central Arkansas Christian's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Robinson, their loss dropped their record down to 7-5.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Senators beat Central Arkansas Christian by a score of 4-2 later that day.
