Moberly kept up with Hannibal until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Pirates never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. Considering Hannibal have won four matches by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Hannibal's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four games. As for Moberly, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their six-game winning streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hannibal will venture away from home to face off against Hickman at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Moberly, they will head out to challenge Mexico at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday.
