Softball Recap: Crescenta Valley Falcons vs. Arcadia Apaches
After a string of three wins, Crescenta Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arcadia Apaches. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, Crescenta Valley couldn't push the score so high this time.
Perri Derian spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up six Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't pitched less than five innings in six consecutive pitching appearances.
