Basketball Game Preview: Columbia Wildcats vs. North Forrest Eagles

The Columbia Wildcats will head out to take on the North Forrest Eagles at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Columbia is leaving town to face North Forrest after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Wildcats fell 48-41 to Sumrall on Thursday. Wildcats fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Bobcats since Thursday.

Meanwhile, North Forrest was able to grind out a solid victory over Lumberton on Thursday, taking the game 63-56.

Everything went Columbia's way against North Forrest when the teams last played back in December of 2022, as Columbia made off with a 49-26 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
