Baseball Game Preview: Finneytown Wildcats vs. Deer Park Wildcats

Finneytown is on a 14-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Deer Park a four-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Wednesday. Finneytown will be playing at home against Deer Park at 5:00 p.m. Finneytown will be strutting in after a victory while Deer Park will be coming in after a loss.

Having struggled with 11 defeats in a row, Finneytown turned things around against Withrow on Saturday. They came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 8-5.

Daniel Mefford was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Jordan Frost, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Deer Park fell victim to Taylor and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 15-0.

Finneytown's win bumped their record up to 3-11. As for Deer Park, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.

Everything went Finneytown's way against Deer Park in their previous matchup back in April, as Finneytown made off with an 11-1 victory. Will Finneytown repeat their success, or does Deer Park has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
