Basketball Game Preview: Providence Catholic Celtics vs. Thornridge Falcons

The Providence Catholic Celtics will take on the Thornridge Falcons in a tournament on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

The Celtics have beaten the Hilltoppers the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Hilltoppers has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Thornridge got the win against Bremen on Monday by a conclusive 54-32.

Providence Catholic pushed their record up to 20-11 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points over those games. As for Thornridge, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.
