Soccer Recap: Golden Proves Higher State Rank Is No Mistake

Golden won the last time they faced Littleton and things went their way on Friday too. The Demons never let the Lions get on the board and left with a 2-0 win. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Golden's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Littleton are ranked 96th).

Evie Brill and Ainsley Hansen scored both of Golden's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 12 goals.

Golden has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. As for Littleton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8-1.

Golden has already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against Summit on the 3rd. Littleton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
