Basketball Recap: Kearney Takes a Loss

On Wednesday, the Kearney Bulldogs came up short against the Aurora Houn Dawgs and fell 43-31. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

They got a good chunk of their points from the dynamic duo of Kayla Resler and Ryleigh Van Emmerik, who each put up six points. Jocelyn Lincoln held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Kearney's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Aurora, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.

Kearney will be home for the holidays to greet Smithville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aurora, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Cassville at 6:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
