Basketball Game Preview: South Central Timberwolves vs. Skyline Thunderbirds

The South Central Timberwolves and the Skyline Thunderbirds will compete for holiday cheer on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, South Central blew past Attica, posting a 59-26 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, Skyline can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game on Tuesday. They took down Kinsley 61-47. The Thunderbirds' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

South Central's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Skyline, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

South Central was able to grind out a solid win over Skyline in their previous meeting back in February, winning 52-39. Does South Central have another victory up their sleeve, or will Skyline turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
