Volleyball Recap: Wake Forest Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wake Forest lost against Leesville Road back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars came up short against the Pride, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.

Leading Leesville Road to victory were Isabelle Barna and Hayden Perry. Barna had 17 digs and three aces, while Perry had ten digs. Barna has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last 25 times she's played.

Wake Forest's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Leesville Road, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Looking ahead, Wake Forest will square off against Holly Springs at 10:00 a.m. on September 6. As for Leesville Road, they will challenge Millbrook at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Pride's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
