Soccer Game Preview: Oak Mountain vs. Indian Springs

The Oak Mountain Eagles are taking a road trip to square off against the Indian Springs Student at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Oak Mountain is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.

Oak Mountain is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Alabama's top teams: Briarwood Christian, who was ranked fourth at the time (Oak Mountain was ranked first). The Eagles were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Lions on Tuesday. Oak Mountain might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 20 matches by three goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to five goals the game before, Indian Springs was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They fell just short of Montevallo by a score of 1-0.

Indian Springs' defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 14-3-3. As for Oak Mountain, they pushed their record up to 26-0 with the win, which was their tenth straight at home.
