Meanwhile, Rio Vista played a tough game on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Woodland Christian and fell 85-44. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1306th, while the Cardinals are ranked 471st).

Vacaville Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Rio Vista, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Vacaville Christian beat Rio Vista 52-45 when the teams last played back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Vacaville Christian since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
