Baseball Recap: St. John's Makes It 12 in a Row on the Road

St. John had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They walked away with a 6-3 win over the Boston College High Eagles. For the Pioneers, this counts as revenge for the 5-1 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in June of 2024.

St. John's pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.0 runs this season. As for Boston College High, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. John's will take on Catholic Memorial at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Boston College High, they will challenge Xaverian Brothers at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
