Basketball Preview: Hughes Lions vs. Collinwood Trojans
The Hughes Lions will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Collinwood Trojans at 7:30 p.m. Hughes will be strutting in after a victory while the Trojans will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Monday, it was close, but Hughes sidestepped the Vikings for a 53-50 victory.
Meanwhile, Collinwood was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 54-50 to the Vikings. Collinwood has not had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Hughes' victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Collinwood, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.
Things could have been worse for Hughes, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 53-38 loss to the Trojans in their previous matchup back in January.
