On Thursday, Stephenson had to suffer through a rough 62-32 loss at the hands of Valdosta. While losing is never fun, Stephenson can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 253rd, while Valdosta is ranked 53rd).

Stephenson now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Valdosta, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-2.

Stephenson will be home for the holidays to greet North Paulding at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. North Paulding will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak. Valdosta won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Johnson at 10:00 a.m. on December 22nd.
