Football Game Recap: Thomas Jefferson vs. Palmer Ridge

Everything went Palmer Ridge's way against Thomas Jefferson on Friday as they made off with a 35-8 win. Followers of Palmer Ridge probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected six blowout victories.

Palmer Ridge's offense rushed out of the gates and came up with 21 first-half points. Meanwhile, Thomas Jefferson couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 21-0 heading into the break. The Palmer Ridge defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the contest.

The victory (their 5th in a row) raised Palmer Ridge's record to 6-2. This is the second loss in a row for Thomas Jefferson and nudges their record down to 6-2.

Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week Palmer Ridge will take on Lewis-Palmer at 7:00 PM. Thomas Jefferson will be staying on the road, facing off against Littleton. Littleton stagger in eager to bring about an end to their eight-game losing streak.
