Soccer Game Preview: Farmville Central vs. North Johnston

The Farmville Central Jaguars will head out on the road to square off against the North Johnston Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Farmville Central is headed into Tuesday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They lost 6-0 to Washington on Tuesday. Farmville Central fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against Washington since on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, North Johnston managed to keep up with Princeton until halftime two weeks ago, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Panthers came up short against the Bulldogs, falling 5-1.

North Johnston's goal came courtesy of Mia Davis, who's now up to 12 this season.

North Johnston's defeat was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 14-3-1. As for Farmville Central, their loss dropped their record down to 9-3-1.

Farmville Central might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from North Johnston in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can the Jaguars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
