Volleyball Recap: Red Rock Comes Up Short

Red Rock was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Chino Valley Cougars. The Scorpions were not able to make up for their loss to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Red Rock was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Chino Valley work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 26-24, 25-14.

Red Rock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Chino Valley, their record now sits at 2-3.

Red Rock didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Mountainside on the 10th. As for Chino Valley, they will take on Coolidge at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th.
