Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Eleanor Roosevelt). They managed a 79-73 win over the Wise Pumas on Monday. The victory was familiar territory for the Raiders who have now won five games in a row.

When it comes to explaining why Wise lost, don't look at Eric Wedge. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 12 on his way to 21 points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Cayden Hargrove, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Eleanor Roosevelt's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-7. As for Wise, their loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 8-1 and their overall record down to 13-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eleanor Roosevelt won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Bladensburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wise, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll face off against Flowers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Flowers knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Wise likes a good challenge.
