Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Hale County). Everything went their way against the Greensboro Raiders on Tuesday as they made off with  a  23-1 win. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six  runs or more this season.
 Carmen Beard made a big impact no matter where she played. She  tossed one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was even better at the plate,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  four  RBI gave  her a new career-high.
 In other batting news, Hale County got a  massive  performance out of  Adalyn Seale, who  scored two  runs while going 1-for-1. What's more,  Seale posted three  RBI, the most she's  had since back in February.  Stormie Averette was another key player,  going a perfect 2-for-2 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.
 Hale County  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .806. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
Hale County has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-7 record  this season. Those  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Greensboro,  they are  on  a  nine-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hale County will square off against University Charter at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Greensboro, they will take on Hatch at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. The Bobcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13  runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of.
