Basketball Recap: Greenleaf Friends Academy Takes a Loss

Greenleaf Friends Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were outmatched by the Tri-Valley Titans and fell 61-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Titans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-12 back in January.

Tri-Valley found their leader in sophomore Lola Warren, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 21 rebounds. Emma Barton was another key player, going 6 of 12 on her way to 12 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

Greenleaf Friends Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-16. As for Tri-Valley, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-4.

Greenleaf Friends Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 48-14 loss against Horseshoe Bend on the 31st. As for Tri-Valley, they have also already played their next game, a 69-28 win against Garden Valley on the 7th.
