Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longmeadow). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Wahconah Regional Warriors a 13-0 shutout on Monday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Lancers with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Longmeadow and bumps their season record up to 6-3. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Wahconah Regional, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Longmeadow will welcome Minnechaug Regional at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wahconah Regional, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Hampshire Regional at 4:30 p.m.
