When it comes to producing big time quarterbacks, perhaps no high school in the country can match the recent track record of St. Louis (Honolulu).

The Hawaiian powerhouse expects to see its most recent star Tua Tagovailoa go early in this week's NFL Draft.

At St. Louis, Tagovailoa followed Marcus Mariota, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2014 and became a first round pick. Going back to the late 1990s, the Crusaders have featured former Pac-12 Player of the Year Jason Gesser, former all-time passing yardage leader Timmy Chang, Jeremiah Masoli and most recently Washington State signee Jayden de Laura under center.

Tagovailoa appeared in 33 games at Alabama, throwing for 7,442 yards and 87 touchdowns against just 11 interceptions. His best season came in 2018 as a sophomore when he threw for 3,966 yards and 43 TDs while leading the Crimson Tide to the national championship game.

The draft begins Thursday at 8 p.m. ET and will be aired by ABC, ESPN and the NFL Network.
