Perry is 9-1 against Basha since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Perry Pumas are taking a road trip to challenge the Basha Bears at 6:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Monday, Perry didn't have quite enough to beat Highland and fell 4-3.

Meanwhile, Basha didn't have quite enough to beat Tolleson on Friday and fell 2-1. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Basha's loss dropped their record down to 2-5-1. As for Perry, they now have a losing record at 5-6-1.

Perry skirted past Basha 3-2 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Perry since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
