Baseball Recap: South Point Takes a Loss

South Point was the 5-3 winner over Kings Mountain when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Red Raiders fell just short of the Mountaineers by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that the Red Raiders have lost by just one run.

South Point is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-6. As for Kings Mountain, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

While South Point had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
