Baseball Game Preview: Killingly Redmen vs. Griswold Wolverines

The Killingly Redmen will square off against the Griswold Wolverines at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Killingly's pitching crew has only allowed 3.6 runs per game this season, so Griswold's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Killingly's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Friday's struggle, when Stonington hitters got past them. The Redmen came up short against the Bears on Friday, falling 10-2. The Redmen haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Meanwhile, Griswold came up short against New London on Friday and fell 7-3. The Wolverines have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Killingly's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Griswold, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
