Baseball Recap: Summerfield Comes Up Short

Summerfield lost against Homer back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Rebels came up short against the Pelicans, falling 16-1.

Summerfield's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Homer, their win was their tenth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

The future could be bright for both Summerfield and Homer: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. The Rebels will try to hand Pleasant Hill their seventh-straight loss when the two meet at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Homer will look to extend North Caddo's three-game losing streak when they meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
