Baseball Recap: Lancaster Tigers vs. DeSoto Eagles

Lancaster lost to DeSoto back in February of 2021, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Tigers never let the Eagles get on the board and left with a 10-0 victory. Considering the Tigers' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Leo Leiva was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out 13 over six innings pitched. Leiva was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March.
