Porter had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt West Fork on Wednesday. The Spartans' defense stepped up to hand the Gators a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Porter, who have now won three matchups by three goals or more so far this season.
